I am happy that the National Assembly has been addressing it and giving clear direction that there was no time that the KMTC Act – which establishes the boards of admission – was ever repealed by the Act that established the KUCCPS. It is very clear from this that the Kenya Medical Training Institutions Board still has the right to admit the students. They have a place where they can admit the students. The KUCCPS does not have any colleges where it can admit the students. Therefore, it is important that this issue is resolved as quickly as possible."
