    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, for allowing me also to contribute to this very important Bill which was processed through the Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights. From the outset, I want to say that through this Bill, the Senate will play its rightful role as the protector and promoter of the interests of the county as clearly defined in our Constitution. This particular Bill will help standardize as is clearly spelt out here, the manner in which petitions will be laid out to county assemblies. Unless we do that, knowing the level of our county assemblies, we will not make any meaningful progress or presentations.
