"content": "this legislation but we must have a mindset, the change and paradigm shift in our thinking and in our morals to appreciate that we must be able to take care of our senior citizens in this country. May I ask Sen. (Dr.) Khalwale that let us put together a number of the proposals he has shared with us so that when it comes to Third Reading, we amend this Bill to realign it with our customs. I know we have various customs and cultures in this country but we must sit down together and ensure that this very important Bill that looks into the interest of our senior citizens sees the light of the day and we ensure that our society, counties and our country are able to provide opportunities to our senior citizens to enjoy a dignified life after they have contributed a lot to the development of this country. With those remarks, I wish to thank Sen. (Prof.) Lesan and I support this Bill. Thank you."
