Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move:- THAT, clause 69 of the Bill be amended— (a) in sub-clause (1) by deleting the words “with the endorsement” and substituting therefor the words “on the advice”; (b) by deleting sub-clause (2) and substituting therefor the following new sub- clause− “(2) Permission for any activity in sub-section (1) may be granted subject to such conditions as the Director-General, with the written approval of the Board, considers appropriate and after an impact assessment has been undertaken.”"
