Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 102 of the Bill be amended in sub-clause (2) by— (a) deleting the words “one million” and substituting therefor the words “fifty million”. (b) deleting the word “three years” and substituting therefor the words “five years”. This is about the “big fish”. It is about fishermen from overseas. It also deals with conditions of industrial fishing. Therefore, we need stiffer penalties in case they default to abide by the law."
