    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, it is true that power outages are very common in the western region. Trans Nzoia too is very affected and the situation is worse during the harvest season. It causes a lot of losses to farmers in terms drying maize seed and commercial maize. The National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB) and the Kenya Seed Company (KSC) cannot dry the maize. Could the Chairman confirm that in this season of El Nino, there will be no power outages or rationing of power shall be limited in Trans Nzoia for the purpose of food security?"
