    "content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, I wish to support this amendment. The reason I support this amendment is because it speaks to the issues of concern that were raised about self-regulation; as a Member of African Parliamentarians' Network Against Corruption ( APNAC ) and Parliamentarians for Global Action that is concerned about issues of ethics and governance, I think when we provide a layer of protection within Parliament, then we are not being honest because the administrator we were bringing was basically to shield us, but we are using a language that makes it appear that we are providing a higher standard. If we have issues of corruption, let it go to the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC). Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, I want to support this. It provides very clear standards for Members of Parliament. I support."
