I join my colleagues to support the amendments and say that the code of conduct of Members of Parliament is ideal at this crucial time when we have a Constitution; every State or public officer is guided by a code of conduct. It is clear to the world, particularly to Kenyans, that Members of Parliament are not above the law. We also abide by the Constitution. We are guided by our principles. Having a code of conduct is the best thing that has happened to this Parliament. It will guide and give a framework for how Members of Parliament are going to operate. I fully support."
