    "content": "I was saying that by the time we come to Parliament, we are vetted by other bodies that the law provides. However, improving the code of conduct and the way we operate here will help us to weed out some people who may spoil for us in the House. For instance, the petition we have heard may come to the House challenging the issue of mileage, yet we know that for a very long time, mileage has been paid to Members of Parliament. In that respect, if we had a code of conduct, it would weed out irresponsible Members."
