"content": "I also wish to mention that the International Labour Organisation (ILO) has prohibited the carrying of weights above 50 kilogrammes. If we still continue to use them in this country, it is against the ILO laws. We must, therefore, guard against a situation where we end up putting our people in a position where their health is damaged. The Mover has said that 25 per cent of all back injuries are caused by carrying excessive weights. Most of these people are unable to afford medical insurance and they are also unable to afford proper treatment if they are injured. Therefore, the fact of the matter is that we should stop carrying weights above 50 kilogrammes in this country."
