    "content": "The people and leaders then even requested for the arming of the residents. We sat down as Meru leaders and said no, we cannot take this responsibility of securing ourselves. It is the duty of the Governments to provide security to its citizens and we refused as the leaders of Meru to take arms to secure our cattle because we thought the Government would do it.
