One of them defines it as follows:- “A militia is a body of citizen soldiers as distinguished from professional soldiers.” Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, these are the characters that we are talking about on the ground. By way of their function; it states as a follows: “It is a body of citizens organized in a paramilitary group and typically regarding themselves as defenders of individual rights against a perceived interference with a Government.” This is exactly what they are doing in the counties. They are militias."
