Thirdly, could the Inspector-General of Police take up the issue because the Constitution is very clear that they must operate under the supervision of the National Police Service (NPS) and the command of the Inspector-General of Police? In the interim before the legislation is even brought, could they be brought under the supervision of the Inspector-General of Police?
