    "content": "Petition No.8 is by Hon. Alloys Leintoimaga, MP, on behalf of residents of Samburu North Constituency. He wanted to know the action taken towards recovery of illegal firearms within the North Rift region and specifically a village called “Lomerok”. The report came before the Committee on 29th April 2015. It has been adopted by the Committee and it will be tabled tomorrow afternoon, 22nd October 2015. That is the last petition. There is also one pending Bill; The National Police Service (Amendment) Bill (Senate Bill No.29 of 2014). The sponsor is the Senate and the report came before the Committee on 10th March 2015. The matter is under consideration by this Committee. The Committee was waiting for a report from the Budget and Appropriations Committee on whether it is a money Bill as per the requirement of Article 114 of the Constitution. A copy of the opinion by the Budget and Appropriations Committee dated 29th September 2015 has been forwarded to the Committee and a report on the Bill will be submitted to the House on Thursday, 29th October 2015."
