Senators, I have a short Message from the National Assembly on the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Amendments) Bill, National Assembly Bill No.33 of 2013 and The Political Parties (Amendment) Bill, Senate Bill No.3 of 2014. Hon. Senators, I wish to report to the Senate that pursuant to Standing Order No.40(3) and (4), I have received the following Message from the Speaker of the National Assembly regarding the rejection by the National Assembly of the Senate amendments to the provisions relating to the Transition to Devolved Government Act, 2012 as contained in the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Amendments) Bill, National Assembly Bill No.33 of 2013 and The Political Parties (Amendment) Bill, Senate Bill No.3 of 2014.
