I urge the Committee to pay special attention to women because women have very unique issues and Sen. M. Kajwang has mentioned that. For the few that I have interacted with, you will find that their parents were born and brought up here in Nairobi and they have never regularised their documentation. They are also married to young men of Nairobi who do not have proper identification. When they apply for identification (ID) cards, they are required to have affidavits, their fathers ID cards and other documents.
