"content": "The second issue is equally grave. We have read in the media that a day or so ago, police officers invaded the precincts of Parliament, arrested some officers of the PSC and arraigned them before a court of law on charges we do not know about. Can we get a clarification from the PSC as to, first, who authorised the police to gain access to the precincts of Parliament? More importantly, can more light be shed on the investigation that led to the arrests? We are made to understand that some “small fish” are being sacrificed on the altar of political expediency, and that the “big fish” are being shielded, given the manner in which the investigations have been conducted. We are informed that the police invaded Parliament Buildings and took away innocent officers of the PSC."
