    "content": "The laws that are in place need to be strengthened to ensure that the use of guns in this country is controlled and we can monitor everybody who carries a gun from the Defence Forces, the police, civilians and everybody else who is licensed to carry a gun. Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, I am aware that time is up. We are determined to convert this Motion into a Bill. We should make more contributions and ensure that we support security in our country. I am affected. My neighbour, Hon. Lusweti, has just mentioned that in Bungoma, where he and I come from, has had challenges of rampant use of guns from different places, for example, from our neighbours, legal owners and the security apparatus. So, if you have a way of monitoring guns, it will help control usage and the security of our people will be assured."
