"content": "Thank you, Hon. Speaker. I have tremendous respect for the Deputy Leader of the Minority Party. He is a leader in this House. So, we exchange words generally in jest, nothing out of malice. I want to inform him that the Departmental Committee on Justice and Legal Affairs has considered the two Statute Law (Miscellaneous Amendments) Bills. One is for the Senate and the other one will be considered by this House. We tabled the Report yesterday. Maybe, Members would need to look at the Report. We have looked at all the clauses. We have even determined others to be unconstitutional and we have made proposals to make them constitutional. So, we will be moving some amendments to that effect. We have even proposed that some proposed amendments be rejected, including where the Bill seeks to take away the power of this House when it comes to the appointment of CSs. We have very good reasons contained in our Report. The Report is very comprehensive. I thank you."
