It is sad that for the people who use this very important artery to note that a road that should have been completed on 24th April, 2014, is only 2.6 per cent complete as of now. The truth on the ground is that the road has since been rendered completely not motorable. I am also aware that this was a joint venture between the World Bank and the National Treasury. When the contractor had this problem, there was a ruling by the International Court of Arbitration at The Hague, which directed the Republic of Kenya to seek arbitration.
