If you look at the Constitution – we have to look at how days are reckoned – and Chapter Two of the laws of Kenya on the general interpretation on how days are reckoned, you will find that you reckon even Saturday and Sunday; the only time that you do not do so is if it falls on a Sunday or a public holiday. In that case, then you can push it to the next day. Saturday in the Constitution is set as a day that has to be counted under the Constitution and under Chapter Two of the laws of Kenya."
