    "content": "(a) The Government has so far spent US$ 20.3 million on The East African Submarine System (TEAMS) Project. This included the cost of the feasibility studies, initial construction costs and logistical support given to the project. The Ministry is currently in the process of paying US$750,000 to Alcatel being cost of duty for equipment imported. This will make the Government contribution to be a total of US$21.05 million."
