    "content": "(a) recruitment, training and discipline of early childhood education teachers; and (b) maintenance of a register of early childhood education teachers recruited by it under paragraph (a). Madam Temporary Chairperson, this amendment provides that the TSC, in consultation with the Council of County Governors, shall be responsible for the training, recruitment and discipline of early childhood education teachers. This is in a bid to ensure that there are uniform standards of competence and professionalism in the persons employed in the early childhood education sector."
