    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir, for giving me this chance. Sen. Haji has just spoken. The industries which are supposed to alleviate poverty levels among the pastoralists are leather industries, the Kenya Meat Commission (KMC) and mining. All these industries are underfunded and ignored by this Government. I would like to know from the National Treasury and the Ministry of Industrialization and Enterprise Development how much they will give to support the county governments, so that they take up the issue of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and train the pastoralists in the leather industry."
