    "content": "Kenyans are very rich in culture and diversity. Those are some of the things we should protect. I believe the drafters of the Constitution must have seen that we need to protect our culture and diversity because our ancestors were there. Within our counties, there are various traditional elders as well. In Meru County, we have our very own esteemed Njuri Ncheke Council of Elders. Much as it does not bring on board the women, we appreciate them. Those are the people who guide the community, advise the young people and protect the heritage of Meru County. That is why the Constitution drafters felt that it is important to protect that which gives us an identity as the people of Kenya."
