    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Deputy Speaker. Good to see you too, Mheshimiwa Amina. I take the opportunity to thank you for giving me the opportunity to contribute to this very important Bill. Indeed, safeguarding of the cultural rights of Kenyans is very important because our culture is our identity as a country. This Bill has very good proposals with regard to how we should protect and safeguard our traditions and cultures. It gives responsibility to both the county governments and the national Government to ensure that those rights are protected as they are in the Constitution. This Bill is progressive in nature. The proposals in the Bill will encourage many cultural practices by the different communities in Kenya. They will now have the full protection and support of the Government so that they are able to showcase the beauty of their cultures."
