Wetangula rose on the Floor of the House and requested for information regarding the arrest of a journalist, Mr. John Ngirachu. The hon. Senator particularly sought to be informed on the following: 1. Under what law and authority did the Cabinet Secretary for Interior and Coordination of National Government issue the Statement, which is unconstitutional and illegal? 2. Whether Chapter 4 of the Constitution has been suspended. 3. Whether the CS is trying to drive the country into the dark days.
