    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I rise pursuant to Standing Order No.(45)(2)(b) to seek a statement from the Chairperson of the Standing Committee on Labour and Social Welfare regarding the doping menace amongst Kenyan athletes. In the statement, the Chairperson should:- (a) Explain the steps that the Government has taken to implement the recommendations on anti-doping that were made to governments by the World Anti- Doping Agency (WADA) in South Africa. (b) Explain whether the Anti-Doping Agency of Kenya is operational, its composition, roles and the programmes that it has put in place in the campaign on anti- doping. (c) Explain the steps that the Government has taken to facilitate the Anti-Doping Agency of Kenya to carry out its mandate. (d) Explain the actions that the Government has taken against institutions and individual that aid and abet doping amongst Kenyan athletes."
