    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker for giving me this opportunity to contribute to the Tax Procedures Bill, which is very important. From the outset, I would like to congratulate the relevant Committee, which has worked so hard to bring this Bill to the Floor of the House. I would also like to paint a picture to the Members who are here today regarding the view that people have about tax, and what this Bill is going to do to them. What happens exactly when a KRA tax officer visits a company? Basically, hell breaks loose. A KRA official will be, sometimes, mishandled or vice versa, and the person who owns the company is mishandled or mistreated. There are stories and myths that when the KRA knocks on your door, basically, it is death that is knocking on your door."
