    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, for giving me this opportunity. I also want to thank the Mover for giving me one minute. I support the Bill. This Bill seeks to harmonise the regulations and administration of taxes in this country. It is the responsibility of the Commissioner-General to educate Kenyans on how and when to pay their taxes. This is so that Kenyans can know that when we pay our taxes, we are able to build our economy, get quality services in the health sector, build our roads, educate our children and take care of ourselves by alleviating poverty in the country. Corruption is also another issue that is taking away our resources and the taxes paid by our people."
