    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Speaker for giving me the opportunity to add my voice to the petition. There is a problem especially with milk. Right now in the country, the processors are claiming that we have a lot of milk, and they have reduced the price. The price is very low for farmers and yet, the price at the market for the processed milk is still as high as it was during the dry season. The Departmental Committee on Agriculture, Livestock and Cooperatives, while you are looking at this petition, please also look at the work of the Kenya Dairy Board by making sure that they maintain the price. If the price of milk from the producers is going down, the price of milk at the consumers’ level should also go down because of the amount of milk available. Thank you."
