Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 3 of the Bill be amended by:- (i) deleting the proposed sub section 13(1A); and, (ii) deleting the proposed sub-section 13(1B). Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady, the purpose being that the current existing legal framework provides the Board with the power to grant loans directly to students who, by age of majority, will have attained 18 years on admission to recognized institutions. The President is saying that the existing law is sufficient."
