Wangari and the Chairman of the County Public Accounts and Investments Committee have said, it will be unfair and unfortunate to make the kind of statement you have made, unless you are able to substantiate. You may be asked to substantiate because I am not going to muzzle you or anybody else from saying what they want to say. What I will require of you if you want to make substantiation is that you appear before the relevant Committee; the Committee on Finance, Commerce and Budget, and put your case before them, that there is favouritism in the allocation of funds. Then they can include your views when they make their report or the findings to the Senate. As Sen. (Dr.) Khalwale and Sen. Wangari have said, the kind of statement you have made is unfortunate because it is the kind of statement that can create despondency where none should exist. As Sen. (Dr.) Khalwale says - he should know because he is the Chairman of that Committee - it is not necessary, if you ask me."
