    "content": "Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I want to thank Hon. Nyokabi for this Bill. As a Committee, we held some meetings with various stakeholders in this sector including the Ministry of Information, Communication and Technology, the Private Sector Alliance International Commission of Jurists and the Media Council of Kenya. We also received some memoranda from the Kenya Private Alliance, the Media Council of Kenya and Safaricom Limited. We captured their views which are contained in the Report that we tabled yesterday. As a Committee, we analysed the various submissions from the public. We observed that some of the amendments that have been proposed will improve this Bill."
