"content": "Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, I wish to thank Hon. Nyokabi for her generosity. Anything that takes us to an open society is a very good thing. I take particular attention to Clause 6, which talks about public interest, which is very important particularly in areas of defence. I do not see how public interest will come in economic issues unless we are trying to protect corruption. There are other things that Hon. Nyokabi should have included in public interest. A few days ago, we were treated to things like sex toys which were procured by the Ministry of Devolution and Planning. The public of Kenya should be protected against such issues. We should include a clause that says that if things are profane or perverted like sex toys, they should not be seen by the public of Kenya."
