However, I suggest the introduction of an amendment to ensure that for constituencies that have more than eight wards, we add two members to have nine members instead of the seven members that come from that constituency. I will be suggesting that amendment during the Committee of the whole House. In order for a Member of Parliament to know what is happening in his constituency and carry out his oversight role effectively as envisaged by the Constitution, his office must be included.
