    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I want to thank the Prime Minister for coming up with this very important Statement on the current state of the national economy. However, I am not satisfied with the Statement the Prime Minister gave. The Prime Minister told us about the capital markets. While I thought the Prime Minister would come and tell us how many Kenyans have gone above the poverty index, got access to healthcare and clean water, how many good roads have we done during this period and whether we have accessed clean energy. I would like the Prime Minister to tell us the scenario not in terms of the NSE index but in terms of the poverty index, how many Kenyans have succeeded to get out of the poverty they are steeped in."
