Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move:- THAT, the Bill be amended in the Schedule- (a) in the proposed amendments to section 3(1) of the Pharmacy and Poisons Act (Cap. 244) by deleting the first row and substituting therefor the following new row- Delete the words “paragraph (d)” and substitute therefor the following new paragraph – (d) three Pharmacists representing the categories specified in this paragraph and appointed by the Minister from nine names competitively nominated by the Pharmaceutical Society of Kenya with due regard to gender, in which case the Society shall submit three names in respect of each of the following categories-"
