Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move:- THAT, the Bill be amended in the Schedule— (j) in the proposed amendments to the Universities Act, 2012 by inserting the words “in regulations” immediately after the word “prescribed” in the proposed new section 39(1A)”; This is to ensure that the Cabinet Secretary makes regulations. Once the Cabinet Secretary makes the regulations, those regulations will find their way to the House as required by Cap 2."
