    "content": "Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, I stand to support the County Allocation of Revenue Bill, 2015. This is a very important Bill that we have to pass as the Senate that gives allocations for the counties. Most counties are looking forward to this allocation in terms of progress so that they can move on with the work that they are doing within the various counties. Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, the equitable share of revenue raised that is being shared is Kshs259 billion together with conditional funds that amount to almost Kshs21 billion. As has been said by other speakers before me, we are talking about the portion that is given to the counties, but there is also a large portion of it, 85 per cent that has been given to the national Government. It is also important to pinpoint some of the areas where a lot of money has been put in and to question the kind of structures that have been put into place early enough so that we can ensure that the collaboration and the hard work that counties are undertaking is also replicated within the national Government.
