    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, climate change is real and many people do not realize that it is here and we must have mitigation programmes. We are seeing extended droughts and flooding. Those are effects of climate change! So, we, as leaders, as we go home, we must explain to our people about climate change. We should go and plant trees. We should plant trees in our schools, compounds and our farms. The policy that we have adopted is that 10 per cent of our land should be planted with trees. I want to appeal to hon. Members to assist me in this Ministry. When we are relocating people from forests, it is because of matters relating to climate change. We must build our capacity in as far as forest cover is concerned. Right now, the forest cover is 2 per cent. But we are targeting 10 per cent by 2030."
