    "content": "Thank you, hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. Thank you Member for Sabaot. The Government should come out boldly and develop a mechanism for raising funds to also compensate the victims of our Independence struggle, and their descendants. We should recognise their contribution to the freedom of the people of this country. We should apologise to them and create a Fund in their honour. The Fund should be known as the “Freedom Fighters Fund”. Therefore, I urge this House to resolve that the Government co-ordinates and facilitates all the affected families to ensure that the second compensation from the British Government benefits all of them. It should immediately establish a committee to compile a list of those who need to benefit."
