    "content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, we should not stop there. We have many cases where our own post-Independence regimes meted out atrocities on the citizens. That is also a matter which should be addressed. Whether it is done by the British or by our own people, it is still oppression. It should be addressed with equal seriousness and the victims compensated. Therefore, I would call upon historians, legal people and the Members of this House to take up these matters, so that all those who have suffered historical injustices are compensated. With those remarks, I beg to support the Motion."
