"content": "So, I want to support it and say that it happened across the country. It did not only happen in Central Province. It was there in Embu, northern Kenya, western Kenya, Makueni and Mombasa. All communities in Kenya rose against the colonial government. There was a general policy by the British Government of giving Kenya, and many other countries in Africa, independence. However, they went on to torture innocent people. For that reason, it is clear that the British Government cannot get away with this. This sort of thing does not run out of time because it is criminal. We know in crimes, one can be charged for as long as the victim is alive. It was for crimes that civil society calls for compensation arose. Therefore, it is proper for the Kenya Government, or lawyers, to file a further suit with a tentative list and claim, so that everybody who suffered in this menace can be compensated properly within the law."
