Bowen, of course, nothing limits any Kenyan, including Members of Parliament, to proceed as provided for in Article 251 relating to procedures for removal of a commissioner of any independent commission. So, any Kenyan is at liberty to proceed that way. However, as the Chair, I have no direction as to the removal of any Member from such office. I cannot direct the removal of any member from such office. That aspect is provided for in the Constitution and the procedure is as you have rightly pointed out – petitioning. Hon.
