    "content": "Thank you, hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, for giving me this chance to contribute to this very important Bill and it is constitutional. The rationale behind the creation of the Office of the Auditor-General is to ensure that public money is utilized in a prudent, efficient and transparent manner. You will find that taxpayers pay taxes so that this money can be put into proper use. It does not make any business sense or country development sense if this money is collected as taxes and then it is misappropriated. This is why the Office of the Auditor-General is created. So, apart from that, we should note that it has an enormous tax to ensure that the country develops because if taxpayers pay money and it is not put to the intended purpose, then it means the country will never grow."
