    "content": "There are problems in many counties in the country where dam sites are located in forests. This Sessional Paper will probably tackle this problem. Many dam sites are situated in forests and when it rains, the waste gets into the water tower and the residents complain. The Seconder has talked about wildlife hunting. I wish the Chair would look into ways of addressing the elephant menace. The issue is even in today’s newspapers and we have had many demonstrations. Yesterday, the road from my constituency to Buuri Constituency was closed. The other day, we had many demonstrations. We have a problem where we have to protect the environment as well as human life. We will have drought even though we have a lot of rain because elephants have crushed everything in the farms. I wish the Chair would do something about this."
