    "content": "Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, I rise under Standing Order No.45(2)(b) to seek a statement from the Chairperson of the Standing Committee on Land and Natural Resources regarding the eviction of alleged squatters from Chepchoina Farm in Trans Nzoia County which was done yesterday. Many houses were burnt down and property was destroyed. In the statement, the Chairperson should:- (1) Explain the circumstances surrounding the eviction of the alleged squatters from Chepchoicha Farm, where they have been living for over 20 years after the Government had already assured them of permanent settlement in the farm.
