    "content": "Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, I would also like to add my voice in congratulating the Chairperson and all Committee Members. I would also like to thank the Chairperson of PSC and all the commissioners who were very supportive. There was no doubt that this fund is needed and the Commission appreciated the work of the Senators. I feel that this will enhance the Senator’s mandate. It will also help the Senate to achieve her mandate. The commissioners were very much concerned with the small percentage that is allocated to the nominated Senators. It was their feeling that the Senate will review that issue and add more resources to the nominated Senators because they also have a big constituency to oversee. I believe that my colleagues are listening keenly and that they will be sensitive to that issue."
