Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 11 of the Bill be amended— (a) in sub clause(2) by deleting the word “three” and substituting therefor the word “two”; (b) in sub clause(3) by deleting the words “plus any two of the other three signatories” and substituting therefor the words “and any one of the other two signatories”. This amendment is in compliance with the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) requirement that on the Integrated Financial Management Information System (IFMIS) it allows two signatories. Therefore, we are reducing the signatories from three to two, just in compliance with the CBK requirement of two signatories on the IFMIS system. Thank you."
